Srini is a simple down to earth guy who values and likes pretty much anything that moves on its own this doesnt mean he is a herbivore often he enjoys being carnivorous. May be, so he loves beauty in all its forms, speaking straight a great nature lover.

When first thinking about life-long domains this one made him smile but took almost 2 years to stick to a design thats decent and works for him and that is it. Since his childhood he likes to draw, paint and do some creative work in his lesiure time and so he choosen this path as his career, lets see how far he takes this web...

But until then this is merely a personal log, knowledge silo and sandbox.

Professional bio

Currently working with an MNC in India. He specializes in design(Photoshop), front-end development (XHTML/CSS/jQuery). Also Information Architecture, W3C standards, Web 2.0, usability and accessibility being his other priorities, thus making web, a better place. Well, as for his profession he does the following tasks:

  1. Creating page layouts, Conceptual Design, High/Low Fidelity Prototyping.
  2. Maintaining UI Design Standards, Information Architecture, Task & Process Flow.
  3. Devising User Interfaces and applying usability principles to portals as well as applications, the primary role is to improve the GUI, solve navigational issues, presenting new ideas to the team members, helping developers in improving the UIs, standardizing templates and prototypes.
  4. Working with Team and / or business analysts to understand user needs, business and functional requirements to develop interactions and navigation systems.
  5. Responsible for the visual quality, overall look and feel of the site.
  6. Working at bridging user and business requirements; applying and instigating branding awareness through design.
  7. Mentoring juniors programmers.
  8. Writing white papers & resource documents.
  9. Precisely he works on the complete design cycle starting requirement phase to end user interface development phase.

Personal bio

  • Food - Enjoys almost all south indian dishes. Mushrooms and sea food being his all time dearies.
  • Nature - Simple, easy going, practical, optimistic, helping and jovial. (Being frank he is very difficulty to understand, you really need a lot of patience to know him better - the best way be a techie and be creative.;-))
  • Attitude - Either do it or leave it, but if you are doing, do it 100% whole heartedly.
  • Likes - Nature(beauty in all forms), music(makes my mind refresh), dance(makes my body refresh) and romance(just like that).
  • Dislikes - Lies, ill-mannered, having no concern for the needy(help the needy in someform or the other like helping the poor, educating them, etc).
  • Hobbies - Dono why they keep on changing, currently a gadgeteer, photography, videography, He plays video games and enjoy them as a way to relieve the stress of long hours (he also envy those game programmers!). He's also a movie buff - his DVD/HD collection would make MGM drop their jaw.
  • Personal philosophy - Don't regret your decisions. You'll always have many choices in your life. Make the choice which will cause you least regret.
  • Personality type - Sometimes, ENTP. Other times, INTP. Depends on who is around him.
